Well, I'm guessing you still want to know why I'm saying that making money online as an editor is simple.

And the only reason I say that is because I generated over $62,000 in pure profit last year.

While a few years back, I was working a low-end Romanian job for 6$/hour (Yikes).

And to be completely honest with you, now that I've done both, I can say with confidence that the process of making that $62,000 was a whole lot simpler.

I mean it.

But if it's so simple, why isn't everyone doing it?

That's a fair question, and I'm more than happy to answer it.

However, as I'm sure you've seen in countless kung-fu movies, the "teacher" never just gives their student the answer straight away.

And there's a very good reason for that.

(Of course, there's nothing stopping you from scrolling all the way to the end and getting the answer straight away. But if you're serious about leaving this page with a new perspective that's genuinely going to help you with making money online, I highly recommend you read through the entire thing)

So I'm going to tell you how I personally came across THE answer during my gruelling journey of trying to make money online as an editor.

Because yes, at the start, due to my lack of knowledge, I also believed it to be incredibly difficult.

Broke, no passions, no job prospects, no connections & horrible grades.

Although it's a bit embarrassing to say, that's honestly an accurate way to describe myself at the end of high school.

And it would eat away at me every single night. To the point where it would genuinely be difficult for me to fall asleep.

Because I knew that I was capable of more.

But the problem was that the "usual path" of success just never made that much sense to me.

Getting good grades, going to a university, getting a job… I just didn't really care enough about it to actually put the effort in.

Which is why I started trying dozens of different business models online.

Reselling, coding, and a few other ideas I'd rather not go into too many details about

And to be honest, all of them failed. Not "didn't work out". Failed. As in, I made either close to $0, or in some cases, I actually lost money.

"Wait a minute! I thought you said it was simple" - You might say…

And yes, I still support my earlier claim that making money online is simple.

However, at that time, I was still making the same mistake most people do when trying to make money online. (I'll reveal it soon)

So what changed?

Well eventually I tried editing.

In fact, I always did a bit of editing here and there even while chasing all of those other "business ideas", but I never really thought about doing it as a career.

So did I magically start making tons of money when I started editing?

Also no, I was still struggling to get any kind of work and I was spending most of my time editing for free.

I even tried creating a gameplay channel on YouTube, as well as a channel that was about PC building.

I remember staying up until 2-3 AM editing footage, tweaking thumbnails for an hour just to get the colors "right".

Then, I'd hit publish and refresh the analytics page every 20 minutes like it was going to suddenly explode.

I would pour so much effort into these videos, and yet, they barely got 10 - 20 views (Most of which were just me refreshing the page)

It was genuinely heartbreaking.

…But what eventually changed everything for me is that I came across a platform called Fiverr

To be honest, I don't even remember how I discovered it, but…

What I do remember is that most people had a very negative view of Fiverr.

Everywhere I looked people said it's not worth it, that you're always competing for the lowest price, and that it's impossible both to get started from zero and to scale it into a full fledged business.

But at that point, I was desperate and willing to try anything.

(And I didn't know it at the time, but this turned out to be one of the best possible decisions of my life)

Because to be honest, most criticisms about Fiverr in general are completely false.

"Fiverr is a race to the bottom." "Everyone's fighting over $5 gigs." "It's saturated." "You can't actually make real money there."

You've probably heard some version of this too.

Maybe from a YouTube video, maybe from a friend who "tried it once," maybe from some Reddit thread written by someone who quit after 3 days.

But 99% of the people spreading this stuff never actually figured out how the platform works.

They made an account, threw together a generic gig in 20 minutes, waited a week, got nothing, and concluded "yeah, Fiverr's dead."

That's not Fiverr's fault.

Fiverr isn't some lottery ticket where you get lucky or you don't. (Although most people would like to believe that because it gives them an excuse as to why they didn't succeed on the platform)

It runs on an algorithm, just like every other platform.

And once you understand how that algorithm actually works, you can easily use it to your own advantage (more on this a bit later)

So I started my account, created my gigs, aaaaand…

Nothing. (lol)

What can you expect? I didn't know anything about the platform at the time.

But eventually something very weird happened.

Instead of giving up and trying a new thing all over again…

I kept going. I tweaked my gigs, I started researching online, I genuinely tried my absolute best to make Fiverr work.

And even after all of that… a month went by without getting any kind of work.

At that point I truly believed I was doing everything right, and I didn't know what else to do.

I started losing hope. And for a few days I didn't do much of anything.

I just sat in my chair, watching videos, playing games, thinking whether or not I just wasted a month of my life for absolutely nothing.

However, I still had a chrome tab open with Fiverr on it, I still had a tiny bit of hope.

And that's exactly when I got my first order.

Just a few days later, I got my second one.

Then my third, my fourth, my fifth.

And in about 2 weeks, I was getting a new order pretty much Every. Single. Day.

And that's the hidden beauty of Fiverr pretty much no one talks about.

Once you get the ball rolling, you literally can't stop it even if you wanted to.

It got to the point where I had to hire 2 other people to help me with my workload.

That's how overwhelming it was.

And by the way, that was AFTER pretty much 4x-ing my original price.
